On Saturday 9th July, members of Furnace United RFC will be completing their 2nd annual bike ride. All players (past, present & youth) are welcome along with coaches, management and supporters. This is a social event with the onus being on enjoyment rather than fitness. As such, we canter along at a leisurely pace and stop off for alcoholic refreshment as often as possible. We will be leaving the club at 12pm and having a BBQ and more beers on our return to the club. Last year was a great day out and it really is a case of ‘the more the merrier’.
